Railings & Balusters in Buffalo, NY
Deck railing has one job that matters more than looks: staying put when someone leans on it in February. We build wood, aluminum, and cable rail at code height, with baluster spacing safe for kids and pets and posts rated for the weight of lake-effect snow, not just a showroom sample.
What’s included
Every job starts with a design or assessment visit and ends with a clean, cleared-up yard. In between: permits pulled where needed, inspections passed, and work we photograph for your records.

Wood, aluminum, and cable options compared on cost, upkeep, and look.
Code-height layout
Every rail meets current height and baluster-spacing code, checked before we build.
Snow-load rated posts
Posts sized to hold up against lake-effect accumulation leaning on the rail all winter.
Precision baluster spacing
Kid- and pet-safe gaps, laid out evenly across the run.
Hardware & finish
Stainless fasteners and a finish matched to your deck material.
Frame & rail photo documentation

Railings & Balusters FAQs
Do I need a permit?
Almost always in Erie and Niagara counties, for any deck over 18 inches high or attached to the house. We file it, pay it (it’s in the quote), and meet the inspector.
What warranty comes with the work?
10 years on workmanship for new builds, 2 years on repairs, plus manufacturer warranties on boards, up to 50 years on some composites. Both in writing with the quote.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Plans from 0% APR for 12 months on approved credit, arranged during the quote visit. Longer terms available for bigger builds.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. A visit takes about an hour, and the written quote arrives within 48 hours. It’s valid for 60 days and there’s no pressure follow-up.
